Department of Otorhinolaryngology was established in DHQ, Rahim Yar Khan in 1981. This Department was affiliated with Sheikh Zayed Medical College as Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery in 2004.

Facilities Available in Operation Theater:
Operating microscope with a video camera, Monitor & observer Loop, Rigid Endoscopes for Bronchoscopy, Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), Air Drill with all accessories, Flexible Endoscope, Direct Laryngoscopy, Oesophagoscopy & Nasopharyngoscopy and Fiber optic Nasopharyngoscopy. Surgical instruments for all types of Operation for Ear, Nose, Throat, Head & Neck regions are available.
Audiology Section

Achievements
Our department is well equipped with latest diagnostic and surgical equipments like Operative Microscope, Endoscopes. We also have fully equipped Audiological unit having Impedance and Pure tone Audiometer along with BERA as well as Acoustic Emission measuring diagnostic facilities. We have well established Departmental Library, conference room/demonstration room and regular teaching activities at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Modern Surgical Equipments like Laser, Functional Endoscope are in pip line. Our department is progressing and expanding rapidly under the full guidance and support of the Principal Professor Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Arain, who takes keen interest in the working of the Department.
