Establishment Date of the Department : 2005

The department of Behavioural sciences started functioning in 2005 after the inclusion of the subject of Behaviour Sciences into the curriculum of MBBS by UHS, Lahore. The responsibility of teaching this subject was given to the department of Psychiatry and till date there is no separate department for Behavioural Sciences and it is being thought by the department of Psychiatry.

Achievement of the Department:

It is serving as a basic academic department since 2005. Second annual examination held in 2006 and result remained 77%, in 2007 second annual examination was held and result remained 100%, in 2008 result was 100 %. In 2009 result was 96.7% and in 2010 result was 100%. Up till now many students have been trained in Behavioural Sciences from this department.

PROGRESS REPORT (2011)

Lectures are delivered by the faculty of department to cover the subjects in accordance with the guidelines of University of Health Sciences, Lahore. Lectures of Behavioural Sciences were delivered to First year MBBS, 2nd Year MBBS and 3rd year MBBS. Multiple lectures delivered to BSc (Allied Health Sciences).
