Department of Otorhinolaryngology was established in DHQ. Rahim
Yar Khan in 1981. Dr. Nasim Shaid, Dr. Masood Ahmad, Dr. Ghulam
Dastagir Khan. Dr. Laeeq-ur-Rehman and Dr. Shahzad Hussain
Qadri, worked as district specialist one by one. This Deparment
was affiliated with Sheikh Zayed Medical College as Department
of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery in
2004.

Surgical instruments for all types of Operation for Ear, Nose, Throat, Head & Neck regions are available. |

Achievements |
| Our department is well equipped with latest diagnostic and surgical equipments like Operative Microscope, Endoscopes. We also have fully equipped Audiological unit having Impedance and Pure tone Audiometer along with BERA as well as Acoustic Emission measuring diagnostic facilities. We have well established Departmental Library, conference room/demonstration room and regular teaching activities at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Modern Surgical Equipments like Laser, Functional Endoscope are in pip line. Our department is progressing and expanding rapidly under the full guidance and support of the Principal Professor Dr. Muhammad Saeed, who takes keen interest in the working of the Department.. |
