It is one of oldest and busiest Department of this Institution. Patients from Southern Punjab, Northern Sindh and Eastern Blochistan are being treated in this Department.

Facilities
Labour Room bed strength has increased to 32 beds and emergency operation theatre is attached to Labour Room. Labour Room contains most modern equipments like ultrasound machine with vaginal probe, portable fetal Doppler’s and Fetal cardiotocographic Monitor. BED STRENGTH = UNIT-I 34 Beds UNIT-II 34 Beds LABOUR ROOM 32 Beds common to both units
Achievements
Maternal Mortality Rate, Perinatal Mortality Rate and Caesarean Section Rate are nearly similar to other Tertiary care Hospital with similar work load. This unit has been registered by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan and 13 Post Graduate Resident (PGRs) are working as trainee for the training of FCPS -II.
