Brief History and date of establishment of the department.
The School of Allied Health Sciences & Health Care Centre has been established in 2011, and Inaugurated by the Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on March 04, 2013.
The School of Allied Health Sciences and Health Care Centre is a part of Sheikh Zayed Medical College/Hospital Rahim Yar Khan. The School of Allied Health Sciences is conducting 04 degree program i.e, 5 years degree program in Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), and 04 years degree program in B.Sc. (Hons) Medical Imaging Technology, B.Sc. (Hons) Medical Laboratory Technology, B.Sc. (Hons) Operation Theater Technology. Sheikh Khalifa Health Care Centre is small OPD running with Physician and Gynecologist provided facility Ultrasound, X-rays, Lab. Testing, ECG and Pharmacy.
H.H Sheikh Khalifa School of Allied Health Sciences and Health Care Centre is located at air port road and is the state of the art building which is fully equipped with Museum, Computer Lab, Library, Skill Lab, Pathology Lab, Radiology Lab air conditioned lecture rooms and practical rooms and practical labs. The faculty of School comprises of highly trained professionals who are expert in their fields and are recognized by PM&DC and CPSP.

H.H Sheikh Khalifa seeking future plans the new program initiated like B.Sc. (Hons) Cardiac diffusion , Optometry, dental technology, & dermatology.
