          Department of Orthopedic Surgery  Unit-II was established in October 2021.

Facilities

          The Orthopedic Ward comprises 35 beds, accommodating both male and female patients, along with 4 dedicated beds in the Arthroplasty Bay, which are almost always fully occupied. Orthopedic Surgery Unit-II is well-equipped with modern facilities, including an image intensifier, arthroscope, closed intramedullary nailing system, and microsurgery equipment. The ward also features an attached classroom and conference room to support academic activities. Comprehensive arthroplasty services are available, and internet access is provided within the ward for use by postgraduate trainees.
