23RD December, 2015 Inauguration of Ward Information Management System (WIMS) in Nero Surgery Department
With  the Grace of Almighty ALLAH , we have launched our Ward Information Management System (WIMS) in co-operation with I.T Department , that  was inaugurated by our Worthy Principal Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Arain on 23rd , December , 2015

23RD November, 2015 Welcome, New M.B.B.S Session 2015-16
Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Arain Principal Sheikh Zayed Medical College Rahim Yar Khan welcomes 1st year M.B.B.S. class for the year 2015-16 at SZMC. The worthy principal also conveys his best wishes to all 1st year students and their parents.
20TH November, 2015 Fire Extinguisher Training at School of Nursing SZH RYK
Fire extinguisher training(fet) have been carried out at school of nursing at SZH RYK on 20 nov 2015 by safety & security deptt szmch ryk for officers/staffs and students. An excellent arrangement by Principal and her team for fet. Staffs and students enthusiastically attended lecture and did practice of fet at outdoor. Total 78, among-st 9 officers/staffs and 67 students have completed fet which is valid for one year.A ceremony for award of  certificate for participants will be held soon. Moreover, Punjab Health Department urges during recent inspection that this fet is mandatory for all employees(officers/staffs) and must be awarded certificate.
12TH November, 2015 Visit of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council 
A team from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council Islamabad visited Sheikh Zayed Medical College Rahim Yar khan on 12TH November 2015 to assess the sufficiency of facilities for the teaching and training of 150 students of MBBS at this institution. They were warmly welcome by the Principal Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Arain and faculty of SZMC/H. The Principal introduced them to the faculty and briefed them about the project. The team later visited library, lecture halls, hostels, play grounds, laboratories , Sheikh Khalifa School of Allied Health Sciences, Wards and diagnostic blocks of the college and hospital. The members of team expressed their satisfaction over all arrangements and facilities.

29TH October, 2015 Security Arrangement for “Awareness Walk for World Stroke Day”
  SZMC/H security department(SD) have provided safe and secure route for participants of awareness walk,CSO appreciated the organizer of walk for early information and well coordination, cooperation with SD of SZMC/H.

25TH October, 2015 Marina Bibi thanks to Security Department to help for MISSING DAUGHTER.
  On 26 Oct 2015 at 1316 hours, a patient named Asia Bibi, who was mentally retarded slipped away from her mother, her mother Marina Bibi approached security department to help her in tracing her, our CCTV supervisor Mr Ismail recheck from CCTV back up footage and guide security personnel and mother from where she went out, she was recovered at Abu Dhabi road.
22ND October, 2015 Theft Mobile recovered by  CCTV camera/Security Department.
  On 22/10/2015, a patient named Jameel reported that his mobile was stolen around 04:48 hours from Children ward. Our Security Officer Mr. Ghulam Sarwar, inquired and reviewed CCTV Surveillance camera ,where caught a lady, who stolen it, the mobile was handed over to Mr. Jameel, after completing legality procedure.

05TH October, 2015 Women found guilty
  On 05/10/2015, a women named Ghulam Fatima called Media, Police and security department that her daughter was abducted by a boy from OPD at 14:06 hours and nobody even security personnel didn’t help out, after detail inquiry, rechecking CCTV camera footages by CSO Major Babur, women found guilty as she intentionally let her daughter to flee from OPD complex, later local Police recovered her daughter from a boy’s village.

29TH May, 2015 Blood donation Camp for Thalassemic Childrens
  Hematology Department (Sheikh Zayed Medical College, Rahim Yar Kahn ) and Transfusion Medicine division is planning to arrange , a blood donation Camp for Thalassemic Childrens at Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited, Sadiqabad, District Rahim Yar Khan . Officers and worker of Fatima Fertilizer will be informed about the disease of Thalassemia and would be motivated for donation of blood .
