| The 71st Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated with national spirit and enthusiasm at the Sheikh Zayed Medical College Rahim Yar Khan.
A dignified simple flag hoisting ceremony was held at the SZMC on Tuesday 14 August 2018 to celebrate the Pakistan Independence Day. Prof. Dr. Mubarak Ali Principal SZMC was chief guest while Medical Superintendent Dr. Ghulam Rabbani SZH, Faculty members, Officers, Nurses, officials, Paramedical staff, and medical students of the SZMC and Students of Nursing School attended the event. The medical students, Nursing Students and children’s from local school made speeches of highlighting the importance of Independence Day. Certificate of excellence and cash prize were distributed to all participants who made speeches in this auspicious function of the Independence Day. The Principal SZMC, in his concluding address, lauded the services of national heroes of Pakistan Movement and paid rich tributes to the people who sacrificed their lives for creation of a separate homeland. |
